Links to Irish Tenor Banjo sites.
The tenor banjo, for use in Irish music, is usually tuned GDAE, rather
than the actual tenor tuning CGDA. This makes many tunes fit the instrument
a lot better, and also makes the instrument sound a bit warmer and fuller.

This site has (aside from some nice graphics) chords, scales and some tab for
the Irish tenor banjo. Also some references to musicians and books.
This site has limited info on Irish tenor banjo, but a bit on string gauges
and a lot on selecting a good instrument.
Bill Black (a.k.a. Zouki) has compiled a very useful FAQ about the tenor banjo.
