Sweeney's Polka.

(tabbed for Irish bouzouki by Han Speek)

Here is a polka which is normally played in A. the transcription given here is in D, so you'll need to capo up at the 7th fret, which has the added advantage that it will shorten the distances your left hand has to span to mandola scale.

The way I play this (and most other polkas) requires a lot of left hand work: hammering, pulling, and a couple of combinations of those. The right hand get most of the strong notes in the melody, which gives a natural bounce to the tune.
